Following the success of the first “The Gentleman’s Wager,” we wanted to create a story that interweaved Johnnie Walker's racing background with magic Italian villas and stylish gentlemen. The idea was to create a piece of content, that would draw in the right consumer to increase sales of the rare Johnnie Walker Blue Label during the global gifting season (that’s Christmas). In collaboration, Anomaly Amsterdam and Anomaly, New York reunited Oscar-nominated actors Jude Law and Giancarlo Giannini in a feel-good part II of the wager. Shot by RSA director Jake Scott, the film takes you on a fast-paced journey from Italy to France, all in the name of an honorable bet, including a little technical skill, a gorgeous classic and good taste. Along the way, acclaimed Chinese actress Zhao Wei joins the story as a bit of gratitude (spoiler alert) takes Jude Law over the finishing line. The film garnered more than 40 million online views and significantly help raise the sales of the higher price-point Johnnie Walker Blue Label.
